Well if you want the literal meaning the first pops into my mind, Aaron is coming out of his backstroke start very smoothly. However, I can't help the fact but wonder if his right leg is bent a bit much to get a good kick. In any case, a nice formation for backstroke.

I think there may be a bit of distortion from the water that is either making the leg appear more bent than it actually is. Or, perhaps when we see something from the greatest swimmers of our time that doesn't conform to our expectation that we need to reevaluate our expectation. Regardless, good stuff.
